Although we were given a DVD player the remote was not provided. This meant that we couldn’t use the DVD player as we were unable to select the relevant language, subtitle or chapters. In this sense we are offered a DVD which did not function and when we approached reception about this we were meet with indifference about the problem. Additionally the £250 deposit would be adequate if customers were given a warning about this. I was only told about the large sum required as a deposit when I arrived to check-in. This is entirely unacceptable as if I were in a position where I did not have this sum of money available at hand then I would have found myself with essentially nowhere to stay. I am sure this is a problem for many of your customer and would suggest that you inform customers about this deposit system when at the point of booking. If you have further questions about this please feel free to get in touch.

Thank you Snita for completing the on-line review, I must apologise about the remote control for the DVD player, I have now addressed the problem by purchasing some new DVD players with remote controls. I'm sorry you were unaware of the security deposit however we do send a confirmation stating a deposit is required as well as it being on the terms and conditions page which you agree to prior booking.
